my bag

I couldn't resist a black and white version of the last post as I am a bit obsessed with it at the moment. Marceau was so chuffed with his new bag that he kept saying 'My bag" and refused to let go of it for rest of the afternoon.

successful day

This young man did very well on his first day of school at the start of this year. There were no tears when we said goodbye and he already stole the hearts of the teachers in the few hours he was there.

milou's first day

This was taken a week before Milou turned two and she was all dressed and ready for school for the very first time.

Both were dressed and ready for school for the first day of this term. Marceau is very lucky to have big sister there for him. Milou had been saying that she would hug lil brother when he missed mummy.

This little guy is two and he has never had a haircut like his big sister. My husband has been nagging to get it cut. Look at those curls, I just don't have the heart to do it!

Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all for these two!

I love listening to their little chats. Marceau may only have limited vocabulary now but they have the special sibling connections and always have a good giggle from their conversations. The topic of discussion of this picture was about Milou's turning four and there would be a lot of balloons for her party.

Poor lil Marceau, he trusted us and had no idea what was coming his way.

It's worth all the effort to bake just to see that smile on her face.

Milou learnt to cheer hip hip hooray after the birthday song at her second birthday. This girl loves parties!

It finally sunk in that I was a mummy when my kisses and hugs had magical healing powers.

That was pretty much on repeat for the first six months.

The memory of this picture is still very vivid even though it was taken nearly four years ago. Milou was only a few hours old and she had just eaten her dinner. They both looked so content and I am glad this special moment was recorded so it will never be forgotten.

Milou has been waiting for her fourth birthday for a very long time now and we have been reminded daily that her birthday is on the fifteen ever since the first day of January. Seven more sleeps...
